Either they'll have a bad day and lose everything to the Empire and Ravenstern or they'll have a really good day and steal land from its neighbors. I've seen them live well into the game but also I've seen them get decimated and lose literally every castle they own to the D'Shar as well.
They tend to stay together well into the game until my kingdom wants their shit, or if they get unlucky and lose a few castles to Sarleon or the Fierdsvain, which is rare.įierdsvain: Medium. The only upside they have is their Archers are basically both Infantry and Archers with how they're trained, but they take so long to produce that you can have 20 Ravenstern Rangers before you could have 10-15 Huscarls or Berserkers, I'd recommend avoiding them.Įdit Taking all of this into account, I should rate them on survivability. Where as Sarleon has mediocre EVERYTHING they at least have rocking Knights and are relatively cheap to field, and the D'Shar have amazing siege-defense troops, the Fierdsvain's best unit is the Huscarl and the Berserker and both go down fast against archers and heavy cavalry. The Fierdsvain is probably the worst faction. Although the second one doesn't really count unless you train them yourself. Ravenstern Rangers are easy to train and the only bowmen that outmatch them are Noldor Rangers and Silvermist Rangers. They host mediocre KOs, except the Knights of the Falcon, who are slightly above average, and the Silvermist Rangers, although I've NEVER seen the Silvermist Rangers spawn in Senderfall like they're reported to. Ravenstern is a good choice for archers, and. However they fall flat in regular cavalry, Empire Knights and Horseman tend to die fast and Ravenstern Rangers/Silvermist Rangers will kill any crossbowmen with rapid fire before they can get two bolts off. Empire Immortals paired with Armored Crossbows and Shadow Legion Centurions will roll through a lot just on their power alone. The Empire has the best infantry forces and two amazing KOs at it's disposals. However, that isn't always the best if you're not too experienced. You can get to the point of being a King without needing vassalage. A lot of people suggest that it isn't necessary, and it might not be. Well if you want to become a vassal you can.
